Kaleb's First Christmas Program

Today was Kaleb's Christmas program at preschool.  I was so proud of him.  I mean really proud. Saturday Kirk and I went to the WSU vs Alabama basketball game, and at one point, I said to Kirk "Can you imagine how proud Ron Baker's parents are?"  He's one of the Shockers star players.  He's good... really good.  Today when I watched Kaleb sing at school, I was truly overcome with pride for him!  I told Kirk when we left I might have been just as proud as the Bakers.  Kaleb wasn't perfect, but participation was an accomplishment to me.  And he was so proud of himself, and I love that!  The director of the preschool told me that they decided they want to clone Kaleb.  Maybe she said that to all of the parents, but it still made me happy that they love him so much that they want two of him!  Anyhow, my point is, Kaleb was awesome today, as were all of the kids, and we really enjoyed their performance.

My Favorite Time of Year!

We've had a fun month thus far in December!  We've spent  a lot of time together and shared lots of love!  Emery and Oliver are so much fun now.  Kaleb is starting to play with them much more and loves to hug/wrestle with Emery.  Oliver started walking about 2 weeks ago, and there's no stopping him now.  Emery is still working on it, but she usually figures things out pretty quickly after Oliver does.  She doesn't like for him to be ahead of her.  In fact, Oliver popped a tooth through earlier this month, and about a week ago, Emery woke up with 2 teeth.  We had our friends Matthew and Lily visit from Topeka a couple of weeks ago.  Then last weekend, we went to visit Santa Claus.  All 3 of the kids sat right on his lap and we got a cute picture.  I will try to include it in a later post.  It will have to be scanned.  We are looking forward to spending Christmas together just the 5 of us and then heading to Mississippi for a visit with our families and friends.

Getting this shot was an adventure... if only Kaleb had been looking in this one!

When I put the babies in their chair for their monthly pictures, Kaleb always has to have a shot taken too.

Bath time has gotten much easier now that the babies can support themselves so well in the tub.  I can do all 3 at once.  It gets a bit wild at times, but it's much quicker than 3 baths!

Climbing on Daddy

Emery really wanted to help Daddy and Kaleb put the Christmas lights up outside.

Lucy wanted to help too.

Emery cried the whole time they were out there!

More play-doh creations

Emery and Oliver LOVE their brother's camo recliner.

This was taken when we got home from seeing Santa Claus. Love them!

Emery makes this face and similar silly ones often!

This was our gift!

Family Pictures

I thought I'd share our family pictures we took in September.  We were so pleased with the outcome!  We used a new photographer this year, Jennifer Aldridge Photography in Ark City.  She was fabulous with our kids and captured great shots of them.
